Developing a regional competitiveness strategy

by

On Nov. 7, Wired65 economic development consultants released findings from their work in our 26-county region toward developing a regional competitiveness strategy.  The findings were presented at the event, Beyond Boundaries: Building Our 21st Century Community.

You can use the link here to view the Regional Analysis. If you have any comments or feedback please post your comment here.

This work will lay the foundation for Wired65 priorities and investments, and will provide a playbook for continued regional cooperation toward supporting a 21st Century Economy.

A key ingredient in developing a long-term regional strategy is participation from people throughout the area. Success in being a competitive region will hinge on the “buy in” and response of regional leaders.

To that end, we have posted the PowerPoint presentation and ask for your feedback. Let us know what you think about our challenges and recommendations for priorities for action. We’ll keep you up to date on opportunities for regional involvement.

Thank you very much.
